  • Assoc Director-Recruitment & Admissions

    We are seeking an Associate Director-Recruitment & Admissions for our preschool through high school education system.  The system includes three campuses – Oak Lawn (PS-8th grade), Tinley Park (PS-8th grade), and Palos Heights (9-12th grade), and serves just under 800 students. 
    The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for developing and leading the student recruitment efforts of prospective families and students.  We desire to have a seamless process for families and students throughout the recruitment and admissions process.  He/she shall be confident working on his/her own and as part of a team, and be a problem solver.  He/she shall have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience working with a database.  Preferred candidates will also have experience in marketing, student recruitment, and admissions.  Much of the work will be completed during the traditional work week, but leading recruitment and admissions events and meeting with families will require some evening and weekend work.

  • Athletic Coaches

    Chicago Christian High School has the following open coaching poistions: 
    • Boys Track Assistant (Sprints/Jumps/Hurdles)
    • Girls Track Assistant (Sprints/Jumps/Hurdles)
    Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ and meet all the qualifications for employment at SCCS.  Please email AD Mark Zylstra at mzylstra@swchristian.org if you are interested in any of these coaching positions.   • Bus Drivers

    Our Transportation Department seeks drivers for regular morning and afternoon route, in addition to athletic and extra-curricular events.  A valid CDL and bus permit is desirable , but we are willing to train!  Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour.  Interested parties should contact Laura Conley, Transportation Coordinator, at 708.636.8622 or LConley@swchristian.org.
  • Choir Accompanist

    Southwest Chicago Christian School is seeking an accompanist for our two high school choirs (including Concerts, Choir Show and Fine Arts performances) as well as playing for concert performances for our two middle school choirs.  The two high school choirs meet on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and will entail approximately two hours each morning.  Performances of high school and middle school choirs, as well as Choir Show and Fine Arts, are scheduled throughout the year.  Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and meet all the criterion for employment as required by the Southwest Chicago Christian School Association.  If interested, please fill out a Support Staff Application form at the bottom of this page and submit it to choir director Maria Luttjeboer via e-mail at mluttjeboer@swchristian.org
  • French Teacher

    Chicago Christian High School (Palos Heights) is looking to expand its foreign language offerings by adding French to the curriculum.  Initially, this position would teach one class period of French per day for the 2020/21 school year.  Each subsequent year after that, we are planning to add additional levels to the program.  Our goal is to find a teacher committed to growing this into a four year, multiple level (class) program.  Experience in a high school setting along with a master's degree is preferred.  Send a cover letter, resume, and application to Principal Mike Drury at mdrury@swchristian.org.
